BT MEMORIAL PARK

Public BBQ

Bert Dix Memorial Park sits on the banks of the Murray River with direct views of the historic Paringa Bridge. The park provides BBQ facilities, toilets, and shaded picnic areas on well-maintained grass. Free parking makes it convenient for caravans and motorhomes to pull in. The riverside setting attracts birdwatchers, with some visitors spotting koalas in the area. A playground exists on site, though it has been temporarily closed during some visits. The park serves as a peaceful stopping point for stretching legs, walking dogs along the riverbank, or having a coffee break. The nearby Paringa Silo Art Tanks are just down the road for those interested in extending their visit.
